Statement of Faith

1. WE BELIEVE that all of the Bible is the only infallible, inspired, authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16)

2. WE BELIEVE that there is only one God eternally existent in three (3) persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (I John 5:4-7)

3. WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 7:25, John 2:11, Hebrews 9:12, Colossians 1:14, John 11:25, Acts 1:11, Revelations 19:11-16)

4. WE BELIEVE that man is sinful by nature and that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7)

5. WE BELIEVE in the present and continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Ephesians 5:18, Ephesians 4:30, I Corinthians 3:6, I Corinthians 6:19.20)

6. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto a life eternal in the presence of God and the lost unto damnation, separated from God. (John 5:24,29)

7. WE BELIEVE that heaven and hell are real places.

8. WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of the church, which is the body of Christ, composed of all who have been regenerated through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12,13, Galatians 3:26-28)

9. WE BELIEVE in the creation of man by the direct act of God. (Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 5:1,2)

10. WE BELIEVE that salvation rests upon the finished work of Christ’s atoning death at Calvary and that salvation is an eternal gift of God’s free and unmerited grace. Saving grace results in eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8,9, Hebrews 9:14, 24-48, Hebrews 10:12)

11. WE BELIEVE that the individual believer should practice Biblical separation and live an exemplary life both in public and in private places.
